London 2016
The weekend visit to during the autumn to London has become something of a fixture in the Club’s calendar. Flying into London City Airport significantly reduces our travel time and some of the members were sitting in the Lahore Restaurant on Commercial Road in under 2 hours after leaving Jersey.
Saturday dawned bright and sunny and with an early afternoon low water the obvious paddle was to head downstream, stopping at Greenwich for morning refreshments before carrying on to the Thames Barrier, always a fascinating place to head.
